Em 1999, a partir de uma prospec\u00e7\u00e3o internacional, s\u00e3o aprovados tr\u00eas projetos de car\u00e1ter muito inovador, <strong>sendo uma das primeiras iniciativas mundiais a conciliar a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade com o combate ao aquecimento global*.<\/strong> <\/p><p>Com o financiamento proporcionado por essas tr\u00eas empresas, s\u00e3o implementadas as <strong>tr\u00eas Reservas Naturais<\/strong> &#8211; um compromisso in\u00e9dito, por seu escopo, e de longo prazo. Al\u00e9m das quest\u00f5es de clima e biodiversidade, os projetos propunham um modelo de envolvimento de comunidades locais, gera\u00e7\u00e3o de emprego e renda e desenvolvimento regional. <\/p><p>Assim que a parceria foi firmada, os projetos foram concebidos com o estabelecimento de sete componentes que ordenariam e conduziriam os esfor\u00e7os para a constitui\u00e7\u00e3o das Reservas Naturais. Foram eles: Prospec\u00e7\u00e3o, aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o e regulariza\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1reas; Manejo das Reservas Naturais; Restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica; Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento; Monitoramento e verifica\u00e7\u00e3o de carbono; Controle de vazamentos de carbono; e, Gerenciamento dos projetos.<br>\u200b<br>A manuten\u00e7\u00e3o ininterrupta destas frentes de trabalho, por mais de 20 anos, proporciona incont\u00e1veis servi\u00e7os ecossist\u00eamicos e benef\u00edcios \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o, como manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos h\u00eddricos, conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de nascentes e \u00e1reas estaurinas, conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de esp\u00e9cies de fauna e flora, gera\u00e7\u00e3o de emprego e renda, oportunidades de educa\u00e7\u00e3o, contribui\u00e7\u00e3o para regula\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica, entre outros. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4ef12c6 ha-has-bg-overlay elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4ef12c6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>* REDD+<\/strong><\/p><p>\u200bO surgimento de regramentos para a\u00e7\u00f5es similares apareceu \u00e0 frente, como o REDD+ \u2014 sigla que significa redu\u00e7\u00e3o de emiss\u00f5es por desmatamento e degrada\u00e7\u00e3o com conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade. Trata-se de ferramenta debatida no \u00e2mbito das negocia\u00e7\u00f5es das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas sobre mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas, que procuram estabelecer ganhos m\u00faltiplos a partir de investimentos que acoplem esse tema. Os tr\u00eas projetos executados no Paran\u00e1 s\u00e3o exemplos qualificados de REDD+, apenas antecipados ao pr\u00f3prio surgimento desse mecanismo. Created in 1991, the initiative is one of the most successful for conservation in the country. It concerns the transfer of financial resources to municipalities that host, in their territories, Conservation Units or water sources for the supply of neighboring municipalities.  <\/p><p>Antonina and Guaraque\u00e7aba are examples of this partnership model. Through the Ecological ICMS, the three SPVS Natural Reserves generated an approximate revenue of 6 million reais for the municipalities in 2021. This return encourages the municipal government to promote the creation of new public and private Conservation Units and to improve their management.  <\/p><p>The supply of water and other environmental services to these locations are also important results of the maintenance and management of the Natural Reserves. All the water that today supplies the city of Antonina is sourced directly from the Das \u00c1guas Reserve \u2013 this partnership guarantees the uninterrupted supply of the resource to residents and the essential water quality for consumption. <\/p><p>In addition to previously reported gains, the Reserves contribute to researchers viewing the areas as sources for studies.
