The book \u201cSPVS Natural Reserves: 20 Years of History\u201d<\/strong> tells about SPVS’s pioneering work in the restoration and conservation of the Atlantic Forest. The work presents information about the process of establishing the Natural Reserves, the techniques used and improved, the relationships and partnerships built, the educational actions for nature conservation, as well as the results in the social and economic development of local residents.\u200b <\/p>

Together, the Natural Reserves \u2013 das \u00c1guas, Papagaio-de-cara-roxa, and Guaricica, located in Antonina and Guaraque\u00e7aba, northern coast of Paran\u00e1 \u2013 preserve about 19,000 hectares of Atlantic Forest.\u200b<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

The book \u201cNature Production: Parks, Rewilding, and Local Development\u201d<\/strong> presents the principles and tools of biological and social sciences, combined with the practical experience of biologist Ign\u00e1cio Jim\u00e9nez P\u00e9rez, in the preservation of natural and cultural heritage.<\/p>

From a prospecting work for nature conservation actions, in partnership with the Conservation Land Trust (which works on preservation projects in Argentina and Chile), SPVS became aware of the concept of Nature Production in 2015. It is from this intense work of approximation that in 2018 it launched the Grande Reserva Mata Atl\u00e2ntica initiative, the first Brazilian case applying the methodology. And thus, in 2019, it launched the translation of the work to inspire other common initiatives \u2013 as has already happened with the Alto Pantanal. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
