SPVS (Society for Wildlife Research and Environmental Education) has just released its 2024 Annual Activity Report, in a special edition that celebrates the organization’s 40-year history.
The document compiles the main results, projects, and actions carried out throughout the year, reaffirming SPVS’s commitment to nature conservation and the development of Nature Production solutions, especially in the Great Atlantic Forest Reserve, where it focuses much of its initiatives.
Highlights include actions for the protection of natural areas, ecological restoration, strengthening public policies, encouraging public use in Natural Reserves, obtaining LIFE Biodiversity Credits, and investing in environmental education and communication as a tool for social transformation.
The report also highlights SPVS’s involvement in governance spaces, strategic partnerships, and the production of technical and scientific knowledge.
The report invites the public to closely explore the advances of 2024 and the four-decade journey dedicated to biodiversity protection and building a future more connected to nature.
