The book “Nature Production: Parks, Rewilding, and Local Development” presents the principles and tools of biological and social sciences, combined with the practical experience of biologist Ignácio Jiménez Pérez, in the preservation of natural and cultural heritage.

From a prospecting work for nature conservation actions, in partnership with the Conservation Land Trust (which works on preservation projects in Argentina and Chile), SPVS became aware of the concept of Nature Production in 2015. It is from this intense work of approximation that in 2018 it launched the Grande Reserva Mata Atlântica initiative, the first Brazilian case applying the methodology. And thus, in 2019, it launched the translation of the work to inspire other common initiatives – as has already happened with the Alto Pantanal.
