Hello, little guardian of nature.

Are you ready for an adventure?

Here you’ll find stories about Nature Conservation, the Atlantic Forest biome, and many interesting facts about some Brazilian fauna. Throughout our experience, you’ll be guided by a rare Brazilian fauna species, the black-faced lion tamarin.

Our agreement is that you and the black lion tamarin will be great friends. It’s a very fragile species, so we need you to be its guardian. Agreed?

Before we begin, let’s learn a little about the Atlantic Forest biome.

Now that you know some key words, let's understand a little about parrots?

Within the Atlantic Forest biome we have a multitude of species, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.

Every morning or late afternoon, when we look up at the sky in some parts of the coast of ParanĂĄ and SĂŁo Paulo, we see a flock of parrots coloring our days and filling us with joy with their sounds:

KLI-KLI!
KRA-KRA!

This is the red-faced parrot (Amazona brasiliensis), a bird that inhabited the Atlantic Forest from the extreme north of Santa Catarina to the southern coast of SĂŁo Paulo.
